Yes, that's an idea.

And if you add these two simple lines in .gnubgrc:

list match
set annotation on

You will also save all the windows at startup.

 If you start another application you have ve to practise some dragging .
Also the program looks more compact, and can easy me minimised.

Yeah , i've heard of UNIX especialy the last days :))    My computer
childhood was in the MSDOS and  (TOS) Tramiel Operating System  (atari )
era.

I look at the disassembled code:  GTK uses all WINxx API functions
