Dear GNUbg-freaks,

since 4 weeks I use your gnu Backgammon program.

I am very enthusiastic about its quality. I use to analyse games with the predefined setting “World class++”. The program is very quick. With this setting it finds the best moves, which Jellyfish 3.01 needs Level 7 to find.

Sometimes Jellyfish even needs a rollout to find the best action.

Furthermore I think Gnu is better with endgames and bearoffs, also with backgames but here I’m not yet sure.

Thank you for this great work.

One feature I m yet missing is to save single positions and give a comment to that position.

I like to categorise the interesting positions I found during a match analyse and save them in folders like Holdinggame-folder, Blitz-folder, Priming game-folder and so on.

BGBlitz has such a feature but it is very tedious to transpose gnu positions into BGBlitz.

I am happy to use GNUbg please keep up your good work and thank you.
