An alternative strategy would be to call a move difficult if 0-ply
differed from 2-ply, or 2-ply from 3-ply etc etc, combined with an
equity difference.

Hi,
i don't think this wuold help in anyway
maybe the best way is to have an option ,while playing, which would allow
the player to point out the moves he considered by himself to be
easy, hard, intermediate ...
later analysis might take this into account .

btw ,about the position
I would instinctly have moved 8/2 3/2 (as many intermediate/advanced)
but now i think 13/7 8/7 is better ...
how much better ? no idea !
so I think it is a very *hard* decision.
md.
