I've got a bad feeling that this may be hard - I'm not sure though.
Gnubg has a couple of arrays representing the chequer locations for
the two players. I think the board is drawn from that and I think it's
used during move selection, evaluation, etc.

It may not be easy to change the array, draw the board, put the array
back without redrawing, then do the evaluation.
