aaah, come on! 

(a) the copy paaste scenario

open dialog, mark text, copy text, switch to email program, paste text

(b) manual "copy'n'paste'

open dialog, memorise the number (say, 0.13.0), switch to email program,
write number

:-)

Of course, I'm relatively young, so I don't have problems memorising the
version number :-) Maybe I'll implement this when I turn sixty :-) Given
this is some thirty-odd years into the future, gnubg will probably be at
version 123.34.67 and playing at 7.55-ply :-) The latter is under the
assumption that Moore's Law holds.
