I've been looking at this in some detail lately. How about this for something to chew on.

Let's say that the 0-ply brain evalutes too low at 0-ply.
I have looked at some samples using the temperature map and if
we use 2 ply as the judge then this seems to be generally true across the spectrum of positions.
Now as 1-ply is merely a product of the 36 0-ply combinations then this will  be magnified and reversed  at the 1-ply level.
This also seems true.

My testing at money play between 0ply and 1ply has shown this too be true for 1ply cube play. (although it's checker play is slightly better)
When we get back to 2-ply I guess there's cancelling out of this effect and we arrive hopefully at the correct equity.
So if this is true, what is it within the training regime if indeed that is the reason,  causes this problem?
