Hello GNU BackGammon
developpers,
I check http://home.online.no/~oeysteij/ to
get the latest version of GNU Backgammon. This weekend I downloaded the latest
and noticed a little change when performing analysis.
In the previous
versions, in the games statistics at the end of the analysis, there use to be an
ELO evaluation on how both players played. It have been replaced, if I am not
mistaken, by Relative FIBS Rating.
I think that you
should also include back the ELO evaluation. Many players don't go on Fibs for
various reason and the majority of the backgammon server use the ELO ranking
system.
I work on NetGammon
myself as head sysop there and ofently use GNU to perfor analysis for the
players there. Understand me well, I don't have anything against
FIBS.
Sincerely,
PS : In order for us
to better assist you, please do not forget to include your nickname when
forwarding this e-mail. Thank you.
