Just doing a strings on gnubg.exe for Windows, there's a hint that
maybe the version on skynet.be may look in
/MinGW/lib/locale
for localisation. If it's like Unix, then it would want to see
/MinGW/lib/locale/xx/gnubg.mo
where xx is the language in question - de, da, ja, it, or whatever and
gnubg.mo would be the gnubg/po/xx.gmo file. I assume that the
/MinGW/lib/locale may have some leading path components - maybe
C:/Win32/ or whatever. It might be interesting for someone to see if
that's all that's required to get gnubg to find the localisation
files. Anyone care to try inserting the files there to see if they get
picked up?
