I can reproduce this. I ran a number of tests on Linux and Windows and originally couldn’t get it to crash. I was using 2D. I changed it to 3D. The latest published windows build will crash, Linux/Debian (With May 28th CVS checkout) does not.

I tried the 64pt match with 3D turned on - 4 times. Each time gnubg crashed as described by Erez. I was using 32Bit Vista, on Dual core AMD system. 2 eval threads. I turned off 3D and again -I could complete a match without errors.

The Linux that didn’t crash was on a Dual QuadCore (8 eval threads)

I haven’t done any further investigation since I don’t have a debug build on windows.

You should also check if this happens with a shorter match length and/or moneygame.

My first suggestion would be to try and narrow down what is causing the crash,
try playing on lower levels (expert vs expert) for example.  Also if you are
using the gui version try running with the command line version.
