Hello,

let me first say: thank you VERY much for providing GNU Backgammon! It is an absolutely brilliant software. (:

My system is Win7-x64 Professional, my graphics card AMD HD 6850 with current drivers.

I have two bug reports and one bug report or idea, don't know. I have installed Gnu BG "Version GNU Backgammon 0.90-mingw 20121023" according to the about-box.

Bug #1: In the 3D-Mode, I sometimes get slight display errors. They change according to whose turn it is. It is a white line of one px thickness.

Bug #2: The German locale setting doesn't translate all of the menu items and shortcut graphical items. Is there an ASCII file with the locale traslations? The files under locales seem to bee binary content. I would like to contribute a translation if I could just edit some ASCII file. Might be another idea, to put the locale setting in ASCII files so that the contribution is easier.

Bug/idea: When doing a match analysis, the evaluation of the players does not match the Gnu BG strength settings. I regularly outplay Gnu BG in matches at setting "casual", but both I myself and Gnu Backgammon (at setting "casual") only get an "awful" in the match analysis.

Proposal: The analysis should match the GNU strength setting. Overall, GNU at casual setting should receive the strength evaluation "casual", and the human player accordingly. That would make it easy to choose the appropiate strength in the engine options.

kind regards, Rasmus
