Ouch, I didn't think of that.  Any further opinions from people more
well versed in English and command line parameter naming than me?
Perhaps we should change it to --symlink after all.

I'm leaving this as well until we figure out which is better.  It is
not unreasonable to leave them separate, after all, since there is no
autoconf equivalent macro for --m4-base or --source-base AFAIK.
