Well, while the comment about instability may be in jest ... I have to
say that the whole filesystem update thing looks to me like an exercise
in introducing instability (change/breakage) for no gain. While it
may be the case that there are few/no votes against the specific
changes in filesystem.ps (I don't particularly like or dislike them),
I'll bet that you haven't been overwhelmed with hundreds of people
saying it's a good idea either. I'd have taken the 'if it aint broke,
don't fix it'. approach.
Of course, I know I'm outvoted on this.
