I just curious this will go to GNUstep make 1.6.x or 1.7.x ? Does that mean I need to rewrite GNUmakefile and probably reinstall a clean GNUstep ?
1) It will go in 1.7.x 2) The most I've had to do with most GNUmakefiles is Remove any definition of GNUSTEP_MAKEFILES and use $(GNUSTEP_MAKEFILES) instead of $(GNUSTEP_SYSTEM_ROOT)/MakefilesIf you are installing other resources, documentation, etc, you might also try to use other predefined path locations, like GNUSTEP_LIBRARIES, GNUSTEP_DOCUMENTATION, etc (defined in common.make)
All these changes will work with the current gnustep-make version, so you might as well do them now.
3) I'd recommend a clean install but it's not absolutely necessary.
