Ok, it now passes compilation.  (After the expedient of using touch to
fake "gnu.eps" and "gnu.png").

One thing I noticed -- there was one "can't open `gnu.eps': No such file
or directory" message towards the end.  Perhaps the program is searching
the object directory for the file, while my (fake) gnu.eps was in the
source tree, where it would be if it was pregenerated.  Anyhow, that
issue did not halt compilation.

I also noticed a few other warnings.  There were two bison warnings on
"pic.y" (``previous rule lacks an ending `;''' on lines 502 and 1325), and
2 groff warnings (sc not defined, st not defined) on grnexmpl.ps.
