Here I am. ;)

The basic story is that everybody who has made major changes to GRUB
except for Erich Boleyn (the original author), has assigned their
changes to the Free Software Foundation.  That lifts some of the legal
burden from us and puts it on them to defend the program's freedom.

This may sound bad, but it's not... in return for assigning changes,
we get back a contract from the FSF that says they will ensure your
work remains free.  So, they are accountable to us, too.

I've attached the template that you can fill out and send to the FSF,
if this is what you want to do.
