I think that it is really necessary to release a test version of GNU
GRUB, as soon as possible. This is clear, if you see how many times
the same bugs in 0.5.96.1 have been reported. That is just
time-consuming both for users and for developers, and we can relax the
situation by publishing the current CVS version almost as it is.

Unfortunately, I have no spare time in this week, but I expect that I
will have some time for fun in next week. So, the test version 0.90
will be made until 23 June 2001. One thing that should be done is to
apply at least patches for fixing bugs. Others will be delayed until
1.0, because of lack of time.
