Perhaps because of the output from "df". Maybe "grub-install" should
always try to convert device names to canonical ones, so that you may
not suffer from symbolic links... IMO, Linux devfs is just
problematic. *sigh*
BTW, Jason, please ask bug reporters for more information, when you
get reports. This case, it would be better to ask him to run
"grub-install" with the option "--debug" and send the output.
