GRUB prompt (and hang) |

Greetings,
I have 2 ide disks on primary, 1 jumpered for master 1 for slave. There is also
a dvdrom on secondary master
as well as 2 scsi disks and a scsi cdrw. If I boot W/O the slave drive
everything works fine. If I boot WITH
the slave drive BIOS gets to "booting ide 0" then prints GRUB on the next line
and hangs. With further
details aside I don't see what the problem is. Here's my config:
default=1
timeout=20
splashimage=(hd1,0)/grub/splash.xpm.gz
title Windows 2000
rootnoverify (hd0,0)
makeactive
chainloader +1
title Linux (New)
root (hd1,0)
kernel /bzImage ro root=/dev/sda2
color light-green/brown blink-red/blue
Cheers,
-zeek
