Redhat 7.3 and GRUB

I have an IBM 600X which I installed Redhat 7.3 with GRUB. I have several disks, so now when I switch disks, any disk other that the one I installed GRUB is not recognized. Does GRUB write something to the BIOS that is causing this reaction?
