Hm... I'm agreed in general, but I'm afraid a little, that I will have not enough time for that sometimes. There are few projects except reiser4 I'm participating in.

In principle, I wouldn't integrate new code into the official source
tree, if nobody could maintain the code. In most cases, I can do that
instead of the author, but it is impossible for me to really
understand every piece of code, in particular if the code is based on
complicated data structures (such as filesystems).

I don't say that you will have to work on GRUB every day. But if
someone reports a serious bug in your code, you should take action in
a reasonable period.

Okay, I'm agreed.

Yes :) Andrew likes new ideas like plugins in parted and so on. We have worked together on reiserfs support in parted.

I know. I was also a contributor to parted.

Okay, thanks a lot. BTW, what is the country you are living currently and what is that happy country you are going to?

It is somewhat dangerous to speak about countries in public places,
because some people tend to criticize individuals, based on where they
live and/or where they were born. I would be happy to answer, if you
ask me privately. :)

Okay :)

P.S. I have attached fsys_reiser4.c for you. Take a look please. It is pretty small.

Well, it is very simple, but I also found a problem.

The copyright note says that it is under the term of
reiser4progs/COPYING. If you want to add the code into GRUB, add the
file reiser4progs/COPYING as well, or describe the license term
explicitly.

I'm sorry. I will fix it in a patch.

Isn't it the GPL?

It is GPL, Hans Reiser is rightholder.

Thanks.
