I think it might help the list to post an
informational link to GRUB2

here every now and then since:

1. Quite a few people don't know about GRUB2
1a. The people who are looking for GRUB fixes thus
suggest updates to GRUB without knowing it is
depreciated.

2. From the outside world GRUB2 is not 'in use' and
although the web site clearly mentions it being
depreciated, most of the instructions are about using
GRUB.

3. The website for GRUB2 links back to GRUB, and the
Wiki doesn't really convey the current status to the
active (to the casual observer).

Just a suggestion worth the electrons they are written
upon,
