Follow-up Comment #10, bug #47639 (project grub):

Just let you known that Fedora 26 Alpha may fixed this issue too
(/usr/share/grub/unicode.pf2 in is identical to unicode.pf2 in Fedora 22,
which is correct). The freetype version is 2.7.1 in Fedora 26.
