Hello!

I've built gsl-1.5 on an IBM AIX 5.2.0.0 machine in 64 bit mode with the native compiler xlc. GSL builds fine, but make check fails in the subdir "cheb" with:

-----------------
[clip]
PASS: gsl_cheb_eval_n, integ sin(3.02) (-0.0078853 observed vs -0.0078853
expected)
PASS: gsl_cheb_eval_n, integ sin(3.05) (-0.00443804 observed vs -0.00443804 expected) PASS: gsl_cheb_eval_n, integ sin(3.08) (-0.00197327 observed vs -0.00197327 expected) PASS: gsl_cheb_eval_n, integ sin(3.11) (-0.00049344 observed vs -0.00049344 expected)
PASS: gsl_cheb_eval_n, integ sin(3.14) (1.11022e-16 observed vs 0 expected)
FAIL: test

Looks for me like a precision related problem. Any hints?

Olaf
