[Bug-gsl] GSL bug

To whom it may concern,

I continue to get the same bug:

I am running OSX 10.5.8 on a 32-bit macbook. I just downloaded the most 
recent gcc compiler, which I believe I installed (svn) but when i type 
'gcc' in the terminal i still get gcc 4.0.1

Any help would be monumental. I have spent all day on this problem.
