I agree with this. There is *lot* of useful code
if-that-would-be-updated-and-we-d-actually-need-it, but unfortunately
at the moment we don't need it. Think about partition support (which
actually needs one or two lines hack to be updated and working): it's
cool, but we don't need it. Having a minimal tree it's our higher
priority need at the moment.
