Hi Yue Lu, as someone who was frustrated by gdb on the Hurd in the

I have described how to address the project in my application (<http://www.google-melange.com/gsoc/proposal/review/google/gsoc2013/nlightnfotis/1>). Shortly say, just reuse the porting on GNU/Linux and the part of GDB side porting on GNU/Hurd.

As I am a Chinese, my full name is Yue Lu(陆岳), Lu is my family name, and Yue is my first name. There is a litter difference with you of name's order in our culture. For simply, you can just call me with my English name hacklu( word hacker plus my family name lu, because I want to be a hacker :)  ).
