installation problems?

Hi,

I have just downloaded cygwin, including lilypond.  When I try to use
lilypond, following the tutorial, I get an error message which makes me
suspect that either the installer has put some things in the wrong places
or that some configuration script somewhere needs to be changed.  Help!

Note: The installation program put ly2dvi (and all the other binaries)  
in /cygwin/bin, not /cygwin/usr/bin.
