On my system:
Linux dell 2.6.24-19-generic #1 SMP Wed Jun 18 14:43:41 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux
The current system reports successful configuration, then won't build because
it's missing t1asm and mpost. After resolving these I was able to build just
fine, but shouldn't configure check for these and tell me I need them before I
build?
