Using such a tool would allow regression tests for the SVG output in both
HTML and PDF form.  We already have means to convert EPS->PNG (with
Ghostscript).

Inkscape and ImageMagick support these conversions:

* inkscape -E myfile.eps myfile.svg
* convert myfile.svg myfile.eps

but there might be a better tools out there for this task.

This issue depends on issue 968.
