I don't see this overly problematic.  If Julien picks up the missing
pieces after the holidays, that should be more or less fine unless the
commits were interdependent with his other work.

I have just now had a few irritations because make did not reflex after
touches to lexer.ll, but I have not diagnosed this in detail.  Might be
something else.

Does anybody know whether this discussion reaches him?
