Actually the point is that I'm not going to change the design,
unless I find an error in it.  If you want to make constructive
comments, I'll pay attention.  So far, you've not done so.

..regarding 100 lines,
that's out of 9849 lines in aclocal.m4, 992 revisions,
to which you've contributed one bug report,
no patches:

20170225
        + fixes for CF_CC_ENV_FLAGS (report by Ross Burton).
