Yes, I am doing legacy boot with a disk that uses a GPT partition table. I don't want to get into the rationale here; I'd like to focus on the issue that other devices don't have problems booting in this way, but the Samsung slate throws a fit.

On this specific device, after I do so and reboot, the device always enters the BIOS setup and never lets me actually boot. I'm using Parted 3.1 and I have set the pmbr_boot flag (which didn't help). This is working fine on other devices, it's just this one Samsung tablet which is giving me trouble.

Has anyone encountered a problem like this or have any advice on root-causing this?
