Salvador, does this version of InfView support @anchor's?  I think there 
was a problem like that with SETEdit when Texinfo 4.0 was released, but I 
was under the impression that it was solved, no?

Neil, can you please check if the stand-alone Info reader that is part of 
the Texinfo 4.0 package has a similar problem?
