Hello
I'm not sure you're the right address for
this question but I've been bashing my head against the wall, as you might say,
with a problem for the past two days.
I want to learn elisp and for that I
downloaded the manual from your ftp site. First I downloaded the PS version, and
tried to use Abode Distiller to convert it to pdf format, but it embeded only
type 3 fonts which are very unreadable on the screen and anyway it didn't have
the hyperlinks in the pdf document. So I downloaded the manual in TeX format,
and I also installed MiKTeX (full) and Winedt to covert the TeX to pdf.
When I use the pdftex.exe utility it converts to pdf and preseves the hyperlinks
buy only embeds type 3 fonts, and when I convert via an intermidiate dvi to pdf
it embed type 1 fonts but doesn't preserve the hyperlinks.
I have never used TeX before. Can you
please tell me how to convert TeX to pdf with type 1 font embeding while
preserving the hyperlinks? (If there is need for a change in the TeX code that
is not too complicated I can do it)
Thank you in advance
Happy Easter
Gaby
