   this was fixed this way in the CVS, not long ago.  Could you please
   try current CVS version?

Seems to work, though the compilation broke when compiling info, since
I forgot to install the needed library with terminal handling code
(ncurses, terminfo, whatever).  It was the only program to fail to
compile by the way.
