texinfo 4.8: make check fails no-headers test on Cygwin |

Hi,
Having recently built texinfo 4.8 on a two year old Cygwin installation,
`make check' failed one test, viz. `no-headers'; otherwise, no other
problems were observed, and all appears to work correctly.
The failure of `no-headers' appears to be due to the use of `-o /dev/null' in
the makeinfo command -- seemingly Cygwin is mishandling this, since
substitution of `-o nul', (or indeed, any non-special file name), allows this
test to pass.
Attached patch, against CVS HEAD on savannah.gnu.org, adapts the test to work
around the Cygwin problem, with no effect on platforms on which it already
passes successfully. (The tarball includes the patch file, and a proposed
ChangeLog entry, as a separate text file).
Best regards,
Keith.
