one question first: makeinfo --help contains:
--footnote-style=STYLE output footnotes in Info according to STYLE:
`separate' to put them in their own node;
`end' to put them at the end of the node
in which they are defined (default).
It looks as if the different indentation of the last line were intentional.
But if I compare it to
--paragraph-indent=VAL indent Info paragraphs by VAL spaces (default 3).
If VAL is `none', do not indent; if VAL is
`asis', preserve existing indentation.
it seems that we should treat the two possible values in a paragraph, not
in a list. So we could do this:
--footnote-style=STYLE output footnotes in Info according to STYLE:
`separate' to put them in their own node;
`end' to put them at the end of the node in
which they are defined (default).
As soon as the last line has the same indentation as the previous two,
help2man starts to work.
So I think I should fix this option this way. Would you agree?
