Right. If the changes needed to appease the W3C validator are
significant, I would not apply them. I haven't seen them yet, but
I'm pretty sure that they are cosmetical.

Maybe for the sake of Texinfo advocacy. It would be nice to say
that makeinfo's HTML fulfills current standards. Besides, it's
really not problematic any more.
