o info node (texinfo) Node Line Requirements

= Position of problem =

When there is a multiple space range within a node reference inside a menu
entry of a texinfo file, then these multiple spaces are not collapsed to a
single space when the info file is produced.

This is the the case only for menu entry, for other node references like node
next or previous pointers, or for @ref and suchlikes, the multiple-space
collapsing seems to work ok.

= Consequences of problem =

Some info viewer cannot follow the link in such a menu entry. See reference 1
of this report.
