Thanks.

However, this is still not the old behaviour.  In the old info,
after a PageUp I could tab to the crossreferences listed on the
page.  In the current info, with the cursor sitting at the bottom
of the page (when we're not at the top of the node), a tab takes
me to an (at that moment) invisible crossreference.  Annoying.

It may be what Emacs does, but it is not what simpler users want.
The old behaviour was there for a reason.
