Sorry, I never included this patch on the release branch.  I suppose we
should just add patches to the release branch as soon as they happen if
they are important for users, even if we're uncertain if there will ever
be another release on that branch.

Distributions often install patched versions of packages so you could
do that if it is important.  Otherwise, the patch will be included in
Texinfo 7.1, which hopefully will come out in a few month's time.
