starting point for learning about properties.

But, I'm not sure if a logo should be just an Image using normal
MediaWiki markup, or if it should be a property. I think probably just
an image, after looking at a couple examples on other semantic wikis.

I looked at with images.
https://www.semantic-mediawiki.org/wiki/SMW_logo is another, with
logos.)
