A lot of people seem to have this desire.  At least 10 people asked me about it
this weekend at DCC.  I guess there is a desire to integrate all of the current
buzzwords...

Software radio and UWB do not fit well together --  UWB requires sampling with
precision in the 10's of picoseconds, directly off the air.
