This may not solve your problem, but the USRP does not support full
speed, to my knowledge. It will only work with high speed; you should
see a message along the lines of

usb 4-4: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 3

Make sure that you have ehci-hcd loaded. It should definitely work on
the intel chipset, not sure about nvidia stuff.
