[Discuss-gnuradio] USRP digital downconverters

Hi,

It sais, that the USRP digital downconverters have a programmable  
decimation rate. What does this decimation rate do? Is this the filter  
restricting the frequencies of the signal + noise?

And how do I change this decimation rate?
