Actually, I can't spot the issue at the moment. Just to confirm this,
it always detects the correct cell_id? Also, it should be noiseless
samples, so a constellation plot after OFDM demod should show some
recognizable constellation. Don't look at too many points though. Sync
symbols are not necessarily following that assumption.

Since the 'percent_load' parameter from your OpenLTE signal generator
shows 0, the OFDM symbols with RS symbols should be recognizable. Is
this the case? And does the sync put tags at the beginning of some of
them?

The other flowgraphs actually use another sync algorithm. Do they show
the same behavoir?

These are just a few hints. Maybe you check them and let me know if
you can find the reason.
