Hi Marcus,

Yes the multiplex I'm considering is the MPEG transport stream multiplex. Here in Ireland we use the standard MPEG-4, so when i receive a DVB-T signal through gnu radio I use file sink to save the stream and  then  VLC to play the file (stream). When i open the VLC i got many programs please see the attached image (IMG_6003.JPG), looking at the image you can see that there are multiple programs i.e. RTE one and UTV Ireland and others.  Let say i'm just interested in the (RTE one) channel stream, I'm
looking for a way to just use this data if there is no way to do that with gnu radio what other options do i have.

for what you have recommended for me to use, i'm sorry i don't know what and how to use mkfifo input_fifo output_fifo0 output_fifo1 output_fifo2,  file_sink and _source with aforementioned FIFOs. And when i use ffmpeg, it can not play the stream  ' i got there is no stream to play'. Can you please explain them more for me. Finally i have attached the file here for if you need it you can play it with VLC.

Thanks
Ihab
