It looks like the device is not properly initialized. Things to make sure:

- You're running UHD 3 on your host. Are you running UHD 3 on your device?

- It's not clear if there is a specific issue with get_num_xbars(), or if there's a general RPC problem. Does uhd_usrp_probe work?

I am using a USRP N321 and N320.
