Nicola,

I've been running compile-all.  As you know it does (configure; make; make 
install) for make, then base, then gui, and finally xgps.  So, yes, gui is 
compiled and installed.

Compilation works if I create a symlink for AppKit -> gnustep/gui, i.e. (cd 
$GNUSTEP_ROOT/System/Headers ; ln -s 
usr/src/GNUstep/core/gui/Headers/gnustep/gui AppKit).
