I guess so, and we don't need to fight it out having clearly different opinions in this respect.

But I clearly see exactly the same problems I always had with lF vs gstep-base compatibility coming towards GNUstep with the MacOSX vs gstep-base compatibility. Other Foundations aren't a high priority for you and in my opinion this will heavily affect MacOSX developers taking a look at GNUstep. And this developer base is heavily needed for GNUstep to really take off.

I disagree ... I think that other foundations (ie libFoundation and OPENSTEP Foundation - all I know of) are even less of a priority for MacOS-X developers than they are for me. All the MacOS-X developers care about is if GNUstep is sufficiently compatible with MacOS-X foundation - and at the moment they will see that, with the exception of apple events, it does pretty much everything MacOS-X Foundation does with a common API. It does some other stuff too, but that's not likely to be relevant to them.
